Good news as 200 students who were earlier on kidnapped out of the 800 students have been rescued, 58 still are at large. The Nigerian Police have announced that most of the students of the Government Boys Science Secondary School have been rescued. The boarding students were earlier on Kidnapped by unknown gunmen. The Nigerian Police has earlier on embarked on a search mission all around Kagara and its environs in order to rescued the students.
The Inspector General ordered the reenforcement of more Police officers and combined security comprises of Investigative Squad Crack detectives, Hunters who would work alongside the military and other security operatives. This was in order to assist in the rescue mission. Successes is being recorded as only 58 students are still at large. This was confirmed after an assembly was conducted at the school and a roll call made. All schools in Katsina State have been scheduled to be closed by 14 December following the Kidnapping
We are happy that most of the students have been rescued. We are also hoping that the search will continued as earlier on announced so that all of the students would be eventually rescued.
