IN THE DAYS OF HIS POWER SERIES.

TOPIC: ACTIVATING GOD’S SUPERNATURAL INTERVENTIONS IN YOUR LIFE

COMPILED/EDITED BY-:

“If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good things of the land;”
Isaiah 1:19

The people that fear the Lord are His children. Their names are written in the book of remembrance. To such people, God will always give protection because they are obedient to His Word to serve Him according to the Divine Will. God demands honour from His children; He also wants unconditional obedience to His words.

This is a time when God is rocking the nations and is looking to pour out His Spirit afresh on individuals and the Church to prepare us for the return of Jesus. So let’s not miss this opportunity by giving up seeking after the presence of God. Let’s press in obediently until he answers

Are you hungry for a SUPERNATURAL INTERVENTIONS? Blind Bartimaeus got Jesus’ attention. “Jesus stopped and said, ‘Call him’”. What can we learn from what he did to attract a divine visitation for our lives, our household or our church?

Many times we give up too quickly and so don’t receive the Supernatural intervention that we want. There was a big crowd to minister too. Jesus could have busied himself by helping these. But instead he chose to stop for Bartimaeus. Why? Because of his huge persistence. Bartimaeus wasn’t going to miss the opportunity and he was willing to persist until he gained an audience with the King of kings.

“The LORD will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.”
Exodus 14:14

ONE of the recurring or conspicuous constants in Biblical history is God’s Supernatural intervention in the hopeless situation of mankind. Miracles are synonymous with God’s intervention in the difficult and excruciating situations of His people. Man’s creation was a product of God’s Supernatural operation. The God of the Bible is a Supernatural God who does Supernatural things in the lives of those who trust in Him.

Every miracle we receive, will always lead to another miracle. Miracles are not absolutes, as a miracle of Land will require another miracle of provision to develop the Land. Our lives have been structured to continuously trust in God. Faith is the imperative for down – loading God’s miracles and intervention into our lives. JESUS said repeatedly that, “according to your faith let it be done unto you.” All things are possible to those who believe. Mark 9:23 “JESUS said unto him, if thou canst believe, “ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE TO HIM THAT BELIEVETH”

God’s visitation in the life of any man is always accompanied by a number of beneficial factors, leading to a remarkable change in the beneficiary’s life. Supernatural intervention does not come from the blues, as there must be a level of commitment that will attract God’s visitation into an individual’s life.

“And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites”
(Exodus 3:8).

There are certain situations that people find themselves that it is only the hand of God that can bring them out.
Israel was in bondage in Egypt, under the rule of Pharaoh. If God did not step in, there would have been no deliverance. Pharaoh was just too strong.
David found himself in miry clay; the more he struggled to be free, the deeper he sank. If God did not step in, there would be no escape.
Lazarus was sick unto death. If the Lord failed to step in, Lazarus would have remained in the grave, and that would be the end of the story.

In 2 Kings 4, a poor widow owed so much money, the creditors came to take her two sons in lieu of the money owed. If God did not intervene, there could be no hope anywhere.
In Acts 12, Simon Peter was locked up in prison, to be soon beheaded by Herod, like he did with James. If God did not intervene, Peter’s untimely demise would have been history.
All these cases were real scenarios in the Scriptures. In all of them however, God stepped in and there was a complete turn around for victory.
What is your own situation that you want God to take over? A bondage? A miry clay? A debt? A prison? A sickness? A seemingly endless family crisis? Or what?
As God intervened in those days, He still does today. He is God and He does not change. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.

In Acts of Apostle 16:23-30, the Bible says, “And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and everyone’s bands were loosed.”

It was the prayer of the saints that brought Peter out of prison. Paul and Silas prayed and sang and the chains broke and doors opened.Prayer can open doors and breaks chains. Regardless of what the situation is, please pray especially in the Spirit.

God wants the salvation of our souls to be the priority of every man. As soon as one receives our Lord Jesus Christ, his soul becomes saved. Heaven will recognise the person and God takes over the person’s affairs. Whatever he does will be taken note of in heaven. God will answer his prayers and ensure his protection from the enemies and agents of the darkness. When one is saved, he is always obedient to the Word of God, and God, in turn, blesses him. This was the case of Abraham that earned him the name, the father of faith and the spiritual father of all Christians.

Call upon the Lord with all your heart. Report that situation to Him. Ask Him to do something particular. Tell Him exactly what you want. Believe Him with all your heart. He will deliver you and you shall glorify Him.

God still loves to intervene in seemingly impossible situations, if He is invited in. Invite Him today and He will surprise you.

“His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence,”
2Peter 1:3

There is deficiency ratio in every one of us. No matter the level of your own deficiency or limitation, trust in God is the leverage for mitigating our deficiencies. Today, turn your impossibilities to God and you will experience God’s conspicuous miracles. Believe ONLY, you will see the manifested glory of God.

PRAYER: Father God, You are the GOD OF MIRACLES. Nothing is impossible with You. Today, I bring the impossibilities in my life to You. I turnover to You, the impossibilities in my career, finances, marriage, etc.
LORD, make a way for me. By faith I receive Your intervention in the Name of JESUS. I will continue to trust in You.
