BREAKING: TENSION AS IGBO TRADERS AND MOTORCYCLE RIDERS CLASH IN DEI-DEI, ABUJA.
There is pandemonium today at the Igbo dominated building materials market at Dei-Dei a suburb of the Federal Capital Territory.
According to an eye witness report trouble started when a reckless motorcycle rider threw a woman under an oncoming trailer which crushed the woman passenger to death and in the spur of the moment the traders angrily burnt the motorcycle which in turn made the motorcycle riders to regroup and start fighting the traders who in turn fought them back.
The eyewitness who is also a trader in the international building materials market stated that such accident is becoming too rampart in that market due to the recklessness of the motorcycle riders.
As at the time of filing this report the arrival of a combined team of army and police have calmed down the situation to some extent.
