“For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.”
Isaiah 61:7

I am sent on the authority of the Word of God to declare to you today that God will give you double in the place of any trouble that you have encountered. No matter what you have gone through or going through in life, God’s Divine Factor changes the story completely. If you belong to God and are born of God, you will always overcome whatever the enemy throws at you. The Word of God says that whoever is born of God overcomes. 1 John 5:4 “For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our Faith”. Life and Crisis seem to be synonymous. Jesus said, in this world we would have tribulation but we should rejoice because everything happening is still subject to God’s control and Jesus has overcome the world for us. John 16:33. Life is full of unexplainable paradoxes and absurdity. There are those who have head without cap and there are those who have cap without head. God is the ONE who balances the equation, who gives us head and crowns our head with loving kindness and tender mercies. There is always a light at the end of the tunnel. Biblical history is replete with many individuals who had challenges, troubles, affliction, and persecution in the ladder of life, but eventually they overcame and today, their stories continue to inspire faith in GOD. People like Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, David, etc.
Psalm 34:17,19 “The righteous cry and the LORD hears and delivers them out of all their troubles; MANY ARE THE AFFLICTIONS OF THE RIGHTEOUS BUT THE LORD DELIVERS HIM OUT OF THEM ALL”.

SCRIPTURE frequently sums up a man’s life in a single sentence. Here is the biography of Joseph sketched by inspiration:— “God was with him,”.

Look at Joseph, for instance, despite his prophetic destiny for greatness, he suffered many setbacks but God gave him a glorious COMEBACK. The man who dreamt to be great and taller than everyone was reduced to below ground zero, persecuted, thrown into the pit, sold into slavery, found himself in Portiphar’s house, assaulted and lied against, thrown into the prison but GOD WAS WITH HIM.

From Shame – To Double portion
The Lord wants us to possess a double portion.
Just in one day of God’s visitation, Joseph received 12 miracles. He was set free from the dungeon of prison, had change of raiment, wore golden ring and chain, change of accommodation, change of status, change of location, enjoyed prerogative of mercy over prison sentence, lifted into prominence, was given unassailable authority over the super power Nation of Egypt, got a brand new wife – a virgin, with special chariots, lived in statutorily furnished apartment with a retinue of servants. We prophesy to you today that your latter end shall be greater than your beginning. In the Name of the LORD, you will have a POWERFUL COMEBACK FROM every setback. The best story of your life will NOW be read and circulated. Get ready, you will have many DOUBLE BREAKTHROUGH for all the trouble you have been through.

Instead of your shame there shall be a double portion; instead of dishonour they shall rejoice in their lot; therefore in their land they shall possess a double portion; they shall have everlasting joy.
Isaiah 61 v 7

No child of God is ordained to suffer shame and reproach. Every child of God is ordained to enjoy unlimited blessings in life.

When we talk about double portion blessings, what do we mean? this simply means God showering you with your harvest of blessings. It means God giving you a crown of glory for all the shame you have suffered. Job recieved a double portion blessings after the reproach that he suffered, Job 42:12. I dont know what you are going through today, i dont care who is mocking you today, but the God of double portion blessings will change your story in Jesus name. The Lord your God will shut the mouths of all your enemies in the name of Jesus Christ. You shall emerge victorious in the name of Jesus.

Great as were the woes of our Redeemer, they are all over now, and are to be looked back upon with sacred triumph. However severe the struggle, the victory has been won; the labouring vessel was severely tossed by the waves, but she has now entered into the desired haven. Our Saviour is no longer in Gethsemane agonising, or upon the cross expiring; the crown of thorns has been replaced by many crowns of sovereignty; the nails and the spear have given way to the sceptre. Nor is this all, for though the suffering is ended, the blessed results never end. We may remember the travail, for the Man Child is born into the world. The sowing in tears is followed by a reaping in joy. The bruising of the heel of the woman’s seed is well recompensed by the breaking of the serpent’s head. It is pleasant to hear of battles fought when a decisive victory has ended war and established peace. So that the double reflection that all the work of suffering is finished by the Redeemer, and that, henceforth, he beholds the success of all his labours, we shall rejoice even while we enter into fellowship with his sufferings.

This striking likeness of Joseph strongly reminds us of our Master and Lord, that greater Joseph, who is Lord over all the world for the sake of Israel. Peter, in his sermon to the household of Cornelius, said of our Lord that he “went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” Exactly what had been said of Joseph. It is wonderful that the same words should describe both Jesus and Joseph, the perfect Saviour and the imperfect patriarch. When you and I are perfected in grace, we shall wear the image of Christ, and that which will describe Christ will also describe us. Those who live with Jesus will be transformed by his fellowship till they become like him.

Prayer
Father God, I thank You for the promise of Your Holy Word. You said I should call You in the day of trouble. Father I am calling You now for Your intervention in my life (Psalm 50:15). LORD, help me and deliver me from all my challenges and trouble. Thank You LORD.
