GOD HAS NOT GIVEN US THE SPIRIT OF FEAR BUT OF POWER AND OF SOUND MIND

IN THE DAYS OF HIS POWER SERIES.

TOPIC: GOD HAS NOT GIVEN US THE SPIRIT OF FEAR BUT OF POWER AND OF A SOUND MIND!

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
2 Timothy 1:7

This is a powerful reminder that fear is not from God, and that we can have courage and peace in the face of difficult circumstances.

Having this particular verse in mind it’s troubling when I hear that people who claim to be Christians are accusing each other of using witchcraft and other supernatural means to harm each other.
We can use this verse to encourage each other and remind ourselves of God’s presence with us.

“We know that God is all-powerful and all-knowing, and that he is always with us, protecting and guiding us.

Even when we feel like we’re being attacked or accused by others, we can take comfort in knowing that God is on our side. He sees and knows everything, and he will never leave us. Let us hold on to our faith and trust in his promises, even when things seem difficult.

“God has given us his word in the Bible, and there are many verses that remind us of his protection and guidance. For example, Psalm 91:4 says, ‘He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge.’
This is just one of many verses that reassure us of God’s loving care and protection. We can hold on to these promises, even in the midst of conflict and accusation.

“Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.
Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.
No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord”.
Isaiah 54:15-17

Romans 8:37-39, which says, “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
These verses are powerful reminders that we are more than conquerors through Christ, and that nothing can harm us or separate us from God’s love.

1 John 4:4 says,
“You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.”
This verse is a strong declaration that the power of the devil is no match for the power of God. We can stand firm in the knowledge that we are protected by God’s love and power.

“As followers of Christ, we are more than conquerors, protected by the power of God’s love and grace. The devil has no power over us, for we have overcome him through the one who is in us. No accusation or attack can separate us from the love of God. Let us draw strength and comfort from these truths, and stand firm in the knowledge that we are never alone. We can face any difficulty with courage and peace, knowing that we are more than conquerors through Christ.”

“As we move forward, let us hold on to these truths and live our lives in a way that reflects God’s love and grace. Let us show compassion and forgiveness to those who accuse and attack us. Let us be beacons of light in a world that is often filled with darkness. And let us never forget that we are more than conquerors, empowered by the one who is in us. May we be bold and courageous as we walk forward in faith.

  • Let us be quick to forgive and slow to anger.
  • Offer a smile and a kind word to those who treat you poorly.
  • Be generous with your time and resources, helping those in need.
  • Pray for those who persecute you.
These are just a few ideas for practical ways to live out the truth that we are more than conquerors.

“In addition to the actions listed above, we must also make prayer and scripture reading a consistent part of our lives. In times of difficulty, we can turn to God’s word for comfort and guidance. And through prayer, we can find peace and strength that surpasses all understanding. May we commit to spending time in prayer and scripture reading each day, drawing closer to God in the process.

“Finally, let us remember to rely on the power of the Holy Spirit. When we feel weak or discouraged, we can rely on the Spirit to fill us with power and courage. The Spirit gives us gifts such as wisdom, discernment, and love. Let us not rely on our own strength, but instead draw upon the power of the Spirit. He is our helper and guide, and we can trust him to lead us through every trial and difficulty.

“Through the anointing, we have access to a power that is greater than any human strength or wisdom. The anointing brings healing, deliverance, and freedom. It gives us the ability to overcome the schemes of the enemy and stand firm in the truth. The anointing is a precious gift from God, and we should seek to receive it in our lives.

  • “But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth”
    (1 John 2:20).
  • “The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him—the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of might, the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the Lord”
    (Isaiah 11:2).

Isaiah 10:27, says,
“And in that day his burden will be lifted from your shoulders, his yoke from your neck; the yoke will be broken because you have grown so fat.”

This verse speaks to the fact that the anointing has the power to break the yokes that hold us back. Whether it’s the yoke of sin, addiction, or any other burden, the anointing can set us free. It’s truly a powerful gift from God.

“We are blessed with an Anointing from the Holy one. This powerful Anointing is a powerful gift from God, bringing us wisdom, understanding, counsel, and strength. It can break the yokes that hold us back and set us free from the burdens we carry.

Through the anointing, we can experience healing, freedom, and hope. Let us embrace this gift from God, allowing it to transform our lives.
