“Open your mouth and I will fill it!”
This statement implies several things—dependency, faith, trust, and an act of obedience on our part. On God’s part, it implies commitment, faithfulness and provision.

IT has been established that nothing happens until we open our mouths to speak. And a closed mouth breeds closed action, closed heaven and closed destiny.

Think of a nest of hungry baby birds. They are completely dependant on their mother and father. They expect Mom and Dad to provide food for them on a regular basis. When they see Mom and Dad, they immediately open their mouths wide—they usually have really big mouths for the size of their little, featherless bodies—and wait expectantly for their needs to be met. They have faith in their parents to regularly and promptly fill their mouths with everything they need.

“You shall ALSO DECIDE AND DECREE a thing and it shall be established for you and the light of God’s favour shall shine upon your ways”

What you verbalise and declare continue to create what manifests in your life. In Matthew 12:37 “For BY THY WORDS thou shalt be JUSTIFIED and BY THY WORDS, thou shalt be CONDEMNED”

What people say about you is not final. It is by your own words that you will be justified or condemned. The spiritual force of God controls the physical realm and as such, your SPOKEN WORD determines the atmosphere and substance of things you create. The Scripture says there are a time to keep quiet and a time to speak (Ecclesiastes 3:7). And Jesus taught us not to take sides with negative mountains of challenges but to speak against them.

If we will but open the mouth of our desire, God will give to us mercies infinitely more precious than the rarest gems.

Open thy mouth wide, for God will not fill it with secondary things, but will satisfy thee with divine mercies of exceeding preciousness.

A major hindrance to breaking free, mentally and materially, out of poverty and into prosperity and experiencing the mouth full of blessings God has for you, is fear and disobedience. God would be able to do so much more for His people if they would just commit completely to Him in every area of their lives.

Hebrews 11:3 “Through faith, we understand that THE WORLDS WERE FRAMED BY THE WORD OF GOD so that, things which are seen were nor made of things which do appear”. We are living in a world that has been framed by Word of God, and we are expected to frame our own worlds of prosperity, healing, breakthrough, etc with the precious promises of God. We have God’s creative forces: His Holy Word and Holy Spirit and they reside inside of us. We have access to God’s Holy promises, which can never be retracted. God says we should open our mouths wide and fill it with His Words. We become products of our words or what we say about ourselves. What we say now affects our immediate NOW AND FUTURE. Angels are waiting for us to add our VOICES TO THE WORD OF GOD, which they would then carry out. Psalm 103:20 ”Bless the LORD ye HIS ANGELS THAT excel in strength, that do His commandments, HEARKENING UNTO THE VOICE OF HIS WORD” Let us keep on speaking God’s Word no matter the circumstance or situation that we face. Proverbs 13:2 “A man shall EAT GOOD BY THE FRUIT OF HIS MOUTH”

Proverbs 18:21 “DEATH AND LIFE are in the power of the tongue and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof”
Rise up today and command your blessings to come forth from the East, West, North and South. Ezekiel 37:9-10

“Then saith He unto me; Prophesy UNTO THE WIND, prophesy son of man and say to the wind, Thus saith the LORD GOD, come from the FOUR WINDS O breath and breathe upon these slain that they may live. So, I prophesied as he commanded me and the breath came into them and they lived and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army”

Your words are powerful; saturate the atmosphere with positive words, and you will see the products of your words.

In order to have your mouth filled by the Lord, you need to do something. If you hear the Word, but do not do the Word, you hinder the blessing of God from being poured out on you. You need to read God’s Word and take it seriously. You need to realize that obeying God’s Word is not optional for you, but it is essential.

You need to believe and obey God’s Word and act on it. You need to take a step of faith and obedience and be a giver. “Open your mouth” implies that you have to do something to make a way for God to bless you and the way you open yourself up for a blessing is by being a blessing.

Make a decision to receive God’s Word for yourself personally, and open your mouth wide and let Him fill it, because God will satisfy your mouth with good, feed you with the finest of the wheat, and satisfy you with honey out of the rock!

Prayer: Father God, today I open my mouth and I declare the Word of God. I refuse to speak negative words. I declare God’s promises concerning me. In the Name of the LORD JESUS, I command my blessings to come from the East, West, North and South. I see the goodness of the LORD in the Land of the living.
