“And Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever.”
Exodus 14:13

I believe that one of the reasons why God hardened Pharaoh’s heart and made him command his troops to pursue the Israelites into the red sea was because God wanted to summarily eliminate the threat that Egypt posed to His people and send a warning signal to other enemies that may arise as they journeyed into the Promised Land. The creator who wasn’t created knows all about stubborn enemies and the best way to eliminate them and make their elimination serve as warning to others in the future.

Egypt is symbolic of bondage, demonic attacks, sickness, pain, poverty and everything negative.

Pharaoh after many years of subjecting the people of God to pain, hard labour and difficulties was still hard hearted even after God had sent Moses to bargain the deliverance of the Israelites.

Stand still
This means;

a) shut your mouth if you don’t have any positive thing to say. Eschew negativity because it will cripple and kill your faith.

God through His prophet Moses gave the threefold solution and it is completely different from the human stand point. Moses speaks the word of God to the people:
Exo 14:13 And Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever.
Exo 14:14 “The LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.”

Fear: cripples, discourages, it’s a mountain ⛰ that seems so high to climb, it interrogates us to the core.
All it takes is Faith to step in the right direction and Fear fades and disappears gradually.
I have been crippled so many times by the enemy through fear, and in so many areas am still been hindered by fear! It is easily said than done; “I am free” but by just showing up, or taking a step in the right direction is half the battle.

God is not limited by seemingly impossible situations. He obviously knew what He was going to do. Moses may not have known exactly what God had in mind, but He believed what God said and faithfully passed on God’s encouraging message. When God is on our side, we do not need to fear or fret.

Be encouraged all of you, those that contend for the faith which is in Christ Jesus!
As a child of the King, remember you are covered by the blood of Jesus
Plead the Blood of Jesus, you are on this side of the fight..Remember Jesus fought with “IT IS WRITTEN”

‘Stand Still and see the salvation of the Lord’
“The enemies you see today, you shall see no more”
Exodus 14Compose yourselves, by an entire confidence in God, into a peaceful prospect of the great salvation God is now about to work for you. Hold your peace, you need not so much as give a shout against the enemy: the work shall be done without any concurrence of yours. In times of great difficulty, it is our wisdom to keep our spirits calm, quiet, and sedate, for then we are in the best frame both to do our own work, and to consider the work of God.
Wherever you are, whatever it is that is troubling you, the Lord who brought you this far will not leave you. If you have embarked on a journey that God called you to commence, and you are now beginning to wonder if He has abandoned you, you may not realise that the Lord is setting up your enemy for destruction. Even though it may appear that He has forsaken you and that your enemy is about to catch up with you; just like He did to the children of Israel, the Lord will bring forth His joker, and at the end of the day you will smile, just as the children of Israel did at the Red Sea.
