IN THE DAYS OF HIS POWER SERIES.

TOPIC: CREATED WITH THE POWER TO UPROOT AND TO PLANT

COMPILED/EDITED BY-:
Rev. Innocent Chukwudi Peace-Udochukwu President Living Fountain Ministries Int’l LIFOM

“See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms to root out and to pull down, and to destroy and to throw down, to build and to plant.”
Jeremiah 1:10

The opening chapter of Jeremiah narrates his call to be a prophet. It’s told in the first person. “Now the word of the Lord came to me.” In typical Hebrew Bible fashion, it’s not clear how “the word of the Lord” actually came. Whether it was through the voice of another person, a conviction heard inwardly, a message on the inside wrapping of a Dove chocolate. What’s clear is that the call reaches the young Jeremiah, and sets the trajectory of his life. The word of the Lord said, “I appoint you a prophet to the nations,” and this is what Jeremiah became.

Listen to God’s word to Jeremiah: “I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow.” I want you to notice the word, “appoint.” That word means, deputy. God was deputizing Jeremiah for a militant work. And Christians today are deputized for an aggressive, uprooting, and harrowing work too! Like John the Baptist, we’re called to lay the axe to the root of the tree (MAT 3:10) and deal with unmitigated blows to the evil systems of this world. We as the warriors of God are created to uproot evil regimes in our various countries, communities and families, in other words we are to vigorously ensure that evil men and women are not given the opportunity to be in position of leadership in every facet of our lives.
We are to ensure that the outcome of every election in our immediate environment favours known men and women of integrity and Godliness.
All these we can do through active participation and through prayers.

Also as believers we should not be afraid to Plant Bible phrases, wise sayings, and principles. We hear it all the time. Don’t Judge, go the extra mile, and the Good Samaritan; just to name a few. By Planting Christian phrases during our everyday conversations at work, the gym, the park or anywhere we find ourselves we bring the Christian culture into the perverted world. There is a balance to this and we should not be obnoxious about it but be wise in sharing these phrases so we may win over the souls that God will bring us into contact with.

A ministry that never uproots will never water; a ministry that does not pull down will never build up. He who knoweth not how to pluck up the plants which God hath not planted, scarcely understandeth how to be a worker of God in his vineyard. Our ministry ought always to be a killing as well as a healing one, — a ministry which kills all false hopes, blights all wrong confidences, and weeds out all foolish trusts, while at the same time it trains up the feeblest shoot of real hope, and tends comfort and encouragement even to the weakest of the sincere followers of Christ.

Every true believer is an example of Christ in this earth and like Christ came to do the work of His Father in Heaven so also every Christian must do the work of God and fulfill their callings and ministries. In first John chapter three verse eight to ten says that Jesus Christ came to destroy the work of satan and to raise the work of God. That is the role of every so called out servant to destroy the work satan and to establish the work of God in this world.
We are called out by God and anointed by His Spirit to fight against every evil kingdoms, to fight against every work of satan , to fight over antichrist and to fight against every evil mind or thought raising above the will of God.
Like Elijah the prophet of God was to destroy and to tear down satanic altars of baals prophets, so is the Church of God today to fight against every false prophets , against every false doctrines, and against the apostacy and deception in the Churches. You are called out like a star at night to give light , you are called out and raised for this days to fight against every darkness controling people. By the truth of the word of God you can fight against evil one and plant truth.
Mighty power of God has been sent to all believers to uproot and to plant according to the will of God, you have power when you believe and doubt not and is the power to uproot every demonic things and plant the godly things.
(Matthew 21:21-22 Jesus answered, “I assure you that if you believe and do not doubt, you will be able to do what I have done to this fig tree. And not only this, but you will even be able to say to this hill, ‘Get up and throw yourself in the sea,’ and it will. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”)
By this power of the Word of God you will uproot every mountains standing against your life, every mountains of failure will be uprooted according to the faith and power in the Word of God in Jesus Christ name.

“But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.”
Mathew 15:13

Before converting to Christ, Christians are at best spiritual pacifists. Our agenda isn’t to repel the forces of evil; we are content to “go with the flow.” But when Christ redeems a person, it moves that person from spiritual neutrality to spiritual action. That’s because God designed His Church to function as an army!

I want to reiterate, planting and building and mending are necessary, but Ecclesiastes 3 says there’s also a time to “uproot . . . destroy . . . scatter . . . rip apart . . . [and go to] war.” As the Captain of our Salvation, Jesus illustrated the need to battle our foe. It’s interesting that Jesus created a “stir” everywhere He went even though the Bible calls Him “the Lamb of God.”
You don’t expect a lamb to overturn the tables in the Temple; but He did!
You don’t expect a lamb to call Herod a “fox”; but He did!
You don’t expect a lamb to indict the religious establishment with hypocrisy, pride, heresy, corruption, and murder; but He did (Matthew 23).
(Insight) I have a question: If the world couldn’t handle Christ as “the Lamb” 2000 years ago how will it handle Him as “the Lion” at His Second Coming when He “puts all enemies under His feet?” If the world couldn’t contain Christ as ‘the Lamb” it sure won’t contain Him as “the Lion”! And if Jesus, our Example, engaged in spiritual warfare, it’s our commission too!

It’s why Ephesians 6 tells us to wear “the whole armor of God.”
It’s why 2 Corinthians 6:7 says we’ve been given “weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left.”
It’s why 2 Corinthians 10:4 says God has given us “divine power to demolish strongholds.”
It’s why Timothy was told to “fight the good fight of the faith.”
The enemy of our soul is routed and defeated by aggressive, militant action!

When people reject God’s revelation of truth they are wide-open to deception! And the consequence of deception can be harmful. Not just disappointing; damaging! Not just hollow, hurt feelings; dangerous disastrous! That’s why we must engage in spiritual warfare and warn others. We can’t hope for the angels to deliver revelation to the misguided masses; we must step in and get involved! 2 Corinthians 10:5 says we are called to “demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God.” Jeremiah said we are “deputized” or “authorized” for this.

There are some curses or barren trees which the Lord has mandated us to uproot. Every growing trees are known for the fruits they bears. Once the trees stops bearing fruits, such trees needs to be uprooted by the forces of our prayers. The foundation of most Christians are terribly bad and as such it has made people stagnated or barren in all areas of life.

Matthew 15:13 has several meanings. First, it means that anything God has not planted in your life should be axed and crushed out from your life. Secondly, it means that anything that does not want you to fulfill your destiny to be shaken out or cast out. Thirdly, such bible verses also means that anything that is depriving you of your joy, happiness, healing, fruit of the womb, righteousness, promotion, progress should be uprooted in the name of Jesus.

Spiritually, we needs to employ the use of prayers to attack the evil farmers that are sowing evil tares into our lives (Mat 13:25). If we fail to attack the strongman but the problems, we may not still find ourselves free from that captivity. To uproot a tree is to discover some hidden things (Dan 2:22). To uproot a tree needs lots of efforts.

Unless we tackle our problems from the roots through prayers, there will be no solution to our present predicaments. The Bible says, if the foundation be destroyed, what can the righteous do? Now that your family tree has been attacked, the Bible says, what can you to bring strong deliverance or light to your family.

The best ways to uprooting them is to first understand the source and decree the problems to expire or dry up.

It’s time for Believers, “seasoned with grace” and humility, to challenge some things! We need to challenge the worldly arguments that contradict God’s Word or people will be swept, unabated, into hell. It’s our duty to rescue the perishing. Whether or not the world likes it, God says the Church is the repository of truth! That’s what Paul meant when he called it “the pillar and ground of the truth.” And that’s why Christians are “deputized” to oppose arguments and attitudes that are hostile to Christ.
If you see walls of separation arising in your home, it’s your prophetic and priestly duty to tear them down. When there’s a constant drumbeat of anger, criticism, self-centeredness, or unruly behavior God expects Christians to put on the “breastplate of righteousness” and lovingly deal with it.

I have a question that regards your soul: Have you made your soul a bulwark of safety? It is the most valuable part of your life. Your soul houses the real you! Have you protected it with the Blood of Jesus; the armor of God; and a strong prayer life?

Trust Christ, sinner, and your soul is saved. A plant of the Father’s right-hand planting, is that soul who hath come to put his trust in Jesus. And the devil himself shall not be able to pluck you up.
